Jimmy Garner, 88, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his residence. He was a hard worker, jack of all trades, cattle farmer and retired from Nafco/Tarkett.
Visitation will be Friday, June 27th from 11 – 12 noon at Rogersville Funeral Home with funeral service following in the chapel. Bobby Walton and Harley Hollingsworth will be officiating. Burial will be Rice Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler White, Brandon Thomas, Jacob Jackson, Jeremy Jackson, David Robbins, Christian Thornton and Tony Corum.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, John & Edna Garner; sisters, Gladys Davis, Betty Rose Corum and Dorothy Davis; brothers, Villard Garner, Millard Garner and Charles Davis; son, Terry Garner. He is survived by his wife for nearly 70 years, Helen Garner; son, Michael Garner; daughter, Belinda Greer and Angie (Travis) White; grandchildren, Casey (Daniel) Hayes, Tiffany (Brandon) Thomas, Kristi (Dwayne) Lamar, Tyler (Lorna) White and Allison Hatfield; a host of great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
