Virginia "Ginny" Lindsay Walker  Virginia “Ginny” Lindsay Walker  passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1943, in Fairfield, Alabama, to John Joseph Lindsay and Marjorie Elizabeth Smith Lindsay.  She was a 1961 graduate of Fairfield High School, and a lifelong, active member of Fairfield First United Methodist Church until its closure. She currently attended Hartselle First Methodist Church.

She retired from EBSCO Media in 2005, and was a member of Athena Study Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Milton “Mickey” Walker, Jr., and her sister, Marion Lindsay Bates.

She is survived by her children, Margie Walker Adams (Stacy), of Hartselle and John M. Walker, III (Nikki), of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren Mary Elizabeth Adams, Jack Adams, and Henry Walker; nieces Michelle Bates, Chris Gadd, and Jeanne McDonough; and nephews, Michael Bates, Jay Gore, Ryan Gore, and Barry Walker.

A Funeral Service will be on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Hartselle First Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Wells officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 pm at the church.
