Jan Palmer Profile Photo  Mary Janice Blaylock Palmer, 69, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. Jan was born in Amory on July 11, 1955, and was the daughter of Joyce Nell Lowery Tribble and Raymond Earl Tribble. She graduated Amory High School, class of 1973, and worked in the area furniture industry for many years. Later, she worked in several restaurants, most recently at The Gemstone. Not one to sit still, Jan always had to have something to do and enjoyed being able to work, in which she took great pride. She was the widow of Craig Palmer whom she married in 1974, and she loved to travel. Above all, her greatest joy was her family especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services will for Jan will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Blaylock Cemetery.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Palmer (Shannon) of Collierville, TN; her daughters, Heather McFarland (Brian), Sioux City, IA and Wendy Sander (Gregory), Sumter, S.C.; her sister, Debbie Myatt (Ricky), Amory; her grandchildren, Conner Palmer, Robin Ray McFarland, and Ripley Sander; nephew, Lee Myatt (Laura) and Alesia Holland (Mark).

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
