It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Stanley Fergerson of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Russellville and Florence, Alabama, surrounded by family on May 25, 2025.
He was predeceased by his father, PT Fergerson, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra Fergerson; son, Philip Travis Fergerson; mother, Evelyn Fergerson; brothers, Alan Fergerson, David Fergerson (Beth), Leslie Fergerson (Melody); sisters, Laure Persall (Nick) and Amy Mussleman (Dee); aunts, Willodean Sneed (Jackie) and Donna King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He had to retire in 2013 due to health issues but then in January 2020 caught COVID-19 which ultimately lead to his death. Per his request, there will be no services but ashes will be spread at a later date at one of his favorite spots as a child.
