Bobby Lee Clifton, age 67, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham with his family by his side. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Clifton was born in Clay County, Al and lived here most of his life. He attended Clay County High School and went straight to work. He worked with the city of Alexander City for 27 years driving a brush truck. He loved the outdoors especially farming and in his spare time would go hunting. Mr. Clifton thought a lot of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Adamson and seen them as great friends. He loved to debate others but had a big heart and loved his children and family, even on his worst days his children and grandchildren would light up his life.
He was survived by his daughter; Mandy Stroud (Ray); his son Jerry Clifton (Amanda); a grandchild Jade Clifton; two sisters Ann Edmondson and Elise Jones; four brothers, James (Judy) Clifton, Gary (Barbara-deceased) Clifton, Phillip Clifton, and Jimmy (Denise) Clifton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Clifton and Lassie Dee Strickland; and a grandchild Bradley Chase Clifton.
