Dovie “Debbie” Owens, 56, of Fort Payne, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Underwood officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. hour of service.
She is survived by her husband Edgar Davis Sr., children Janice Owens (Steve), Edgar “Bubba” Davis Jr., Linda Chappell and Amber Bingham; brother Kenneth Chappell (Kristy) and multiple sisters; grandchildren Abbi Owens, Christian Pickering, Charity Pickering, Lillian Pickering, and Steve Pickering III; nieces and nephews Jacqueline Camp, Wesley Camp, Kenneth Chappell, Ariel Chappell; and lots of friends.
She was preceded in death by her son James Owens and her sister Maryann Chappell.
