Gola Belle Williams, 86, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Fairview, MS to Clyce Funderburk and Ollie Rogers Funderburk and was a homemaker. Gola loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and working in her flowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay, AL where she enjoyed her church family and luncheons.
Services will be Friday, April 11, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Bill Harper officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 10-11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Bostick; a son, Eric Williams (Nancy); grandchildren, LaShea Nunley (Bradley), Ryan Bostick (Jessica) and Nathan Bostick (Magan); great-grandchildren, Maura Nunley, Luke Nunley, Taylor Nunley, Hadley Nunley, Calliana Bostick, Paxton Bostick, Rylan Bostick, Lalia Bostick and Sophie Bostick and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Williams; a son, Phillip Williams and siblings, Ralph Funderburk, Hildred Benton and Dare Shotts.
Pallbearers will be Billy Terrell, Scotty Hardin, Phillip Horn, Mike Montgomery, Dewayne Palmer and Scott Eubanks. Honorary pallbearers will be her Sunday School class.
