John Leonard McTenn, age 65 of Fort Payne, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born on November 16, 1959 in Whitwell, TN. He served our country in the United States Army.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until the 3 p.m. hour of service. Burial will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. EST at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer McTenn, Jacie McTenn, Brandon Poe (Lena), and Curtis McTenn (Hannah); brother, Samuel McCurry; sister, Kathleen Hill; and grandchildren, Nirvana McTenn and Melissa King.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jean Kilgore; brother, Rusty McCurry; and sisters, Shirley Nunley and Melissa Griffith.
