Harold Orton, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, Owner of Orton Used Cars & Golf Carts. He enjoyed fishing, loved all things TN Vols, and Braves baseball. Mr. Orton served his country honorably in the Tennessee Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Elizabeth Miller Orton; one brother, William Dale Orton; one granddaughter, Madison Taylor Eledge.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Kelley Orton Eledge (Bill) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Mark Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Anna Eledge, Sinclair Eledge, and Alex Eledge all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Bob Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM on April 9, 2025, with Keith Barnett officiating.
