Magdalynn “Susie” Heard Vaughn, age 80, of Florence, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Heard; husband, Douglas Vaughn; brother, Pete Heard; son-in-law, Gary Peters.
Survivors are her daughters, Sherry Peters Moyes (David) and Kathy Gray (Steve); son, Mike Vaughn (Bailey); sister, Judy Crews; 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Susie was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ. A special thanks to Cottage of the Shoals and to Whittney and Felicia for their above and beyond care. There will be a private graveside at Stony Point Church of Christ.
