Donna Birdwell, 73, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home on February 9, 2025. Born on June 13, 1951, to the late Donald and Dorris Morrow, Donna lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.

A wonderful cook—her fried chicken was legendary—Donna took joy in bringing people together around the table, filling both hearts and plates with warmth. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved fiercely and gave selflessly.

For 15 years, she shared her life with her beloved partner, Jimmy, whose companionship brought her joy and comfort. A woman of quiet strength and endless support, Donna’s love knew no bounds. Whether it was cheering on her loved ones, offering a listening ear, or sharing a warm embrace, she always made sure those around her felt valued and cherished.

One of her greatest joys was shopping with her granddaughter and caretaker, Bella, with whom she shared a special bond. No matter the circumstances, Donna remained steadfast in her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored beyond measure.

Donna is survived by her son: Jason Bolton (Kerrie Thurman), grandchildren: Makala, Eric, Izzebella, and Alaina Thurman.

Donna Birdwell was a good woman—kind, loving, and strong. She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts, carrying forward the love and lessons she so generously gave.
