Janice Lorraine Steele Woo, age 63 of the Dogtown community, passed away on March 5, 2025. She was born on May 1, 1961 in Carrollton, Georgia to the late Thomas & Gracie Pointer Steele.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Walker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service.
She is survived by her husband, William Woo; children, Laura (Rodney) Yeadon and Bryan (Mary) Woo; grandchildren, Sara (Tim) Rowland, Hanna Yeadon, Elizabeth Yeadon, Amber Woo, William Woo, Terry Woo, and Summer Hooper; and great-grandchildren, Beth Rowland and Katarina “Peanut” Martinez; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Terry Steele, Lawrence Steele and Ronnie Steele; and sister, Ann Price.
