Patricia Ann Hannah Jones born February 26, 1939, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 6, 2025. She fought the good fight and passed peacefully at her daughter’s home in Eupora, MS after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 85. Mrs. Jones was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Bradley, MS and a retired Document Control Clerk of the Brunswick Corp (Motorguide) in Starkville.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willie W. (Peck) Jones; her only son, Willie W. Jones, Jr.; her parents, Roscoe and Mary Hannah; brothers, Billy, Murrel, Willis, Richard and Robert Hannah; and one sister, Myra Horton.
She is survived by her three daughters, Vickie (Floyd) Reed of Sturgis, MS, Pam Beaty of Mathiston, MS and Donell (Steve) Ladner of Eupora, MS; grandchildren, Steve Reed of Starkville, MS, Rachel Reed of Sturgis, MS, Mandy Ray of Sturgis, MS, Donna Johnson of Starkville, MS, Jazie Baxter of Louisville, MS, Jennifer (Brad) Harrison of Eupora, MS, Michael (Jessica) Potts of Eupora, MS; 16 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Jeremy McCory will officiate. Burial will be at Craig Springs Cemetery with no formal graveside services scheduled.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Coggins, Cullen Harrison, Jackson Franks, Preston Johnson, Kohen Potts, Noah Childs, Cage Johnson, and Clay Miller.
The family would like to thank Enhabit Hospice, Dr. Jewel Huffman and Dr. Joshua Black for the care and devotion they provided us during this time.
