Evelyn Bobbit – Obituary

Funeral services for Ms. Evelyn Bobbit, age 90, are scheduled for 11 AM on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Broad Street Church of Christ in Lexington with Bro. P. J. Hardy and Gary Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Ms. Evelyn passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Lexington. She was born March 21, 1923 in Gibson County, TN to the late James Arthur and Una Lucinda Austin Bobbitt. She was a retired medical secretary for the VA Hospital in Memphis and a member of Broad Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Austin Bobbitt and James A. Bobbitt, and one sister, Ruth Bobbitt French. Survivors include her sister, Julia Bobbitt Bloomingburg, and eight nieces and nephews.
