Evie Christine Staton age 93 of Boaz passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at her residence. She was born on August 4, 1933 to Dewey and Cullie Rains.
She is survived by her grandson; David Staton, daughter-in-law; Judy Staton, daughter; Geneva (Tommy) Smith, son; Terry (Jane) Staton, grandchildren; Sharon (Chris) Honea, Amy (Chad) Honea, Brad (Lori) Staton, Lisa Upton and Christopher Staton, great grandchildren; Dillon Honea, Alex (Lynley) Honea, Cameron (Sierra) Honea, Emily Honea, Ashton Staton, Ella Staton, Josie Eidson, Allie Eidson and Macie Edison; great-great grandchildren; Charlie Jane Honea, Colter Honea and Cooper Honea; nephew; Brent Rains, nieces; Sandra Decker and Elaine Dodd.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death be her husband; Ivon Staton, son; Barry Staton and brother Thomas Rains.
Christine lived at the Manor House in Boaz for the last five and a half years where she truly enjoyed having friends and neighbors close by at all times. She will be remembered for the love she showed with her family and the lives she touched throughout her life.
Ther will be a Graveside Service for her on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Bro. Shannon Pullen will be officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
