Ellis Edward Ayers, 84, died Sunday, April 7, 2013. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City. He was the husband of Lillie Littleton Ayers.
