Natasha Monique Clay was born August 26, 1989, to Marketa Clay and Horace Smith Caudle Jr. in Huntsville, Alabama. Ms. Clay transitioned on August 31, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William H. Clay, Teresa Clay Battle, and Eloise “Lois” Caudle; and Aunt Linette Caudle Sears.
Natasha attended J. O. Johnson High School in Huntsville, Alabama where she loved serving on the JROTC. Natasha went on to continue her education at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama.
Natasha took pride in raising her three beautiful daughters and wore the title of being their mom like a badge of honor. She was not only the perfect mom but also had the title of the best dance battle judge for her girls. She loved being around all her siblings, cousins, and best friends. She never missed a moment to show love and support to any of them. When it came to her siblings, she was sure to let them know that she was and will always be the big sister.
Natasha is survived by her daughters, Kadience Cenance, Kaylee Wilson, and Ka’Mayah Wilson; mother, Marketa Clay; father, Horace Smith Caudle Jr; grandfather Horace Smith Caudle Sr. (Phyllis); sisters, Kristian “Bri” Caudle (Antoine), and Angel Williams (her crybaby sister); brothers, Kristoffer Robinson (Sean), Horace Maurice Caudle, Deaundra Cattage, Jeromy Cattage, and Cameron Caudle, Xavier Ward; uncles, Jonathan Battle (Hope), Derrell Clay, Wayne Caudle, Tony Caudle (Monica), Marcus Caudle (Tonia); a host of nieces and nephews; a host of very close cousins whom she loved as siblings; and very special friends whom she formed a close and unbreakable bound with.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church (307 Gates Avenue SE, Huntsville, AL 35801) with Reverend Dr. Tara W. Bulger officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Ms. Clay will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
