Cathy Nell LaRue, 68, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. She was born July 28th, 1955, to Bobby and Mildred (Scott) Barrier.
She is survived by her son Eric Haggard; grandson Ben Haggard; granddaughters Briley Haggard and Kaitlyn Haggard; great-granddaughter Emery Robertson; sister Debra White; and brother David Barrier.
Ms. LaRue is preceded in death by her husband Walt LaRue.
Mrs. LaRue loved the beach, Alabama football, shopping, and her grandkids. She worked at Tee Jays Manufacture as an inspector for twenty years. She also worked at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.
