Virginia Demos Appelquist, age 78 of Dora, passed away, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her residence. Virginia was born on June 1, 1945 to the late Pete and Katherine Darabaris Demos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Boyd and Stama Johnston.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Wayne Humber and his wife Angela and Roy Jason Humber and his wife Samantha; two grandsons, Ryan Humber and his wife Candie and Kenneth Humber; a granddaughter, Valerie Humber; five great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31 at 11:00 AM from the Bell Sumiton Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens with Hollis Alexander officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.
