Priscilla ‘Pris’ L. Roth, 93, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at home is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
Pris was born Ann Priscilla Leishear of Sunshine, Maryland, daughter of Thomas Miller and Marie Iglehart Leishear. She was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church. Her passion was teaching children and retired from teaching in 1992.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Miller and Marie Leishear; sister, Jane Seibel; friend and mother-in-law, Madalen Roth; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Survivors include daughters, Patti Waid and her husband, Duke, of Lewisburg, WV, and Tammy Bingham and her husband, Greg, of New Market, AL; grandchildren, Zach Bingham and his wife, Jessica, of Huntsville, AL and Katie Bingham of New Market, AL; and great-grandchildren, Samuel Bingham and Sidney Bingham.
The family would like to thank all of those who have lovingly cared for our sweet Mom, Granny, and Great Granny over the years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
