Janice, born on August 1, 1956, in the warm embrace of Georgia, was a beacon of light and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. On October 16, 2026, she peacefully departed this world at her home, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, humor, and unyielding kindness.
Janice was the beloved daughter of Barbara Ann Covington. She was preceded in death by her cherished significant other, Roy David John, and her dear grandson, William Charles Bledsoe. Despite these profound losses, Janice’s spirit remained resilient, her life a testament to the power of love and family.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Janice dedicated her life to raising her daughter, Jessica Renee Bledsoe, with unwavering love and support. Her family was her pride and joy, and she savored every moment spent with them. Janice’s warmth extended to her grandson, Christopher James Miller, and his wife, Crystal Startley Miller, as well as to her granddaughter, Angel Dawn Bledsoe. Her great-granddaughters, Nevaeh Miller and Savannah Miller, brought her immense joy and were constant reminders of the love that she cultivated within her family.
Janice was a woman of remarkable intelligence and wit, known for her infectious laughter and endearing sarcasm. Her presence could brighten the darkest of days, and her warm heart was always open to those in need. She had an uncanny ability to offer help, often being the first to extend a hand or a listening ear. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was truly one of a kind.
Her hobbies and interests revolved around her family, and she cherished every opportunity to create memories with them. Her love for her family was matched only by her love for life, and she approached each day with gratitude and joy.
Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who shared in her life and the joy she brought into the world.
In honor of Janice’s memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers. Her family leaves this special message: She will be missed dearly but never forgotten. We love you, GG.
