James Carl Blackwell, age 68 of Oakman, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Day Cemetery. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
Mr. Blackwell was preceded in death by his Brother-Ronnie Gurganus.
He is survived by his Wife-Annette Blackwell; Daughter-Jennifer Blackwell; Sisters-Janice Jenkins and Sharon Cameron; Granddaughter-Melanie; Grandson-Leo; Special Grandson-Braxton Robinson; Special Granddaughter-Addison Bard.
