Mr. Michael Joe Byars, age 58, of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born September 12, 1964, in McMinnville, TN, was a truck driver with Donaldson Trucking, and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his fur baby Tank. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Byars, and his grandparents Fred and Paralee Tittsworth and Alvie and Delma Byars.
Survivors include his wife Tina Carter Byars, mother Emley Byrd, daughter Chrystal Patton, son Jeremiah (Samantha) King, sister Brand (Lucas) Foutch, brother Lonnie (Ginger) Byars, grandchildren Michael (Kaitlyn) King, Hailey King, Jaden King, Sarah Rains, Legend King, and a grandchild on the way – Abel, a great grandchild on the way – Motley, and a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Michael Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home.
