Steve Allen Feazell, 69, passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born January 23, 1957, to Vineyard and Eva Jane (Reese) Feazell, Steve graduated from high school in 1975 and served in the United States Air Force. He was a professional photographer and a man of Baptist faith who found comfort and guidance in studying God’s Word.
Steve enjoyed fishing, bladesmithing, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Above all, he treasured the time he shared with his family and the people he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Darlene Feazell; loved ones Steven Elliott Feazell, Shannon Feazell, Emily and Mark Howell, Cassandra and Michael Digby, Jonathan and Megan Dickson, April and Tony Lallo, Phillip and Donna Feazell, Paula and Gary Haynes, Paul Talley, Durell and Tammy Blackburn, and Paul and Teresa Blackburn; cousins Greg Feazell, Vickie Feazell, and Kieth Feazell; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by Larry and Grace Feazell, Terry and Barbara Feazell, and Amy Talley.
A graveside ceremony will be announced at a later date and will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Burgess Austin and family officiating.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered comfort and support throughout Steve’s illness. Every card, word of encouragement, flower, meal, serving of ice cream, and act of kindness meant so much. They are especially grateful for the godly advice and love, the hands held during difficult moments, the hospice care and supplies, and the special doggie who brought a smile to Steve’s face. Each gesture brought comfort to Steve and those who loved him.
