Mr. Charles M. Kelley, age 76 of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill #2 Baptist Church of Guntersville, with Brother Chris Reaves officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 1:00 pm till the time of service, and burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife Jeannie Kelley; son Scottie Kelley (Robin); grandchildren Jessica Rasmussen, Jonathan Rasmussen, Trevor Kelley, and Hannah Kate Kelley; great grandchildren Brayden Scott Rasmussen and Emmy Grace Rasmussen; sisters Carolyn Scott (Thomas) and Sandy Boozer; and brother David Kelley (Doris). He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Katie Lee Kelley; son Charles Monroe Kelley, Jr.; and sisters Barbara Harris and Nell Ledbetter.
Pallbearers will include Brian Dorsett, Brier Dorsett, Ty Dorsett, Cody Bruce, Caleb Sims, and Taylor Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Pleasant Hill #2 Baptist Church.
