Lewis Sebron Thomas, 85, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away at his home on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home.
Sebron was born April 21, 1937, to the late Aron Alie and Sarah Ruth Boyd Thomas. He lived in this area all his life and was a Christian, a previous member of the Elkmont Volunteer Fire Department serving as Chief. He loved to fish, going to auctions, yard sales and Flea Markets and the Elkmont Senior Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Christopher Stanford; and brother, Larry Wade Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Cagle Thomas; daughters, Kathy (Tim) Stanford, Shea (Mike) Owens, and Brandi Thomas, all of Elkmont, AL; 4 grandchildren, Teal (Jay) Coshow, Ali Taylor, Miranda (Mark) Dishner and JonMikel Owens; 5 great grandchildren, Layla Brymer, Ellie Dishner, Vivien Corinne Hawkins, Zephyrian Kendri Hawkins and Coen Coshow; sister, Linda (Bobby) Eaves, Elkmont, AL; host of extended family, friends, with longtime friends, James and Linda Lawhorn, Pulaski, TN.
There will be a visitation at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Chapel Service to follow at 3:00 PM, with Tim Stanford and Mike Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Hodges Cemetery in Pettusville, AL.
