Willie Thomas “Tommy” Grissom, 84, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at his residence. He was retired from Reynolds Aluminum. He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of Muscle Shoals Baptist church.
Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Doug Farris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Louise Grissom; son, Steven Mark Grissom; and sister, Ruth Smith.
Mr. Grissom is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hathcock Grissom; daughter, Donna L. Ivy; sisters, Ethel Wode (Robert) and Frances May (Ernest, Jr.); grandchildren, Beth Wright (Jonathon), Becky Puckett (Jay), and Cutter Ivy; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Zackery, Karter, and Tessa Wright, Garren and Maddox Stanley, and Slaton and Sadie Puckett.
Pallbearers will be Cutter Ivy, Kameron Wright, Karter Wright, Zackery Wright, Jonathon Wright, and Jay Puckett.
