Bonnie Brown Maddox age 92, of Albertville passed away Monday Feb. 13, 2023, at Albertville Nursing Home. Mrs. Maddox was born on November 12, 1930, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harless A. Brown of Douglas. She attended Jacksonville State University and Florence Teacher’s College. She taught school and later worked at Redstone Arsenal. She was a long time member of Arab First Baptist Church. Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Maddox to whom she married in 1955. She is survived by her children: Jeff (Lisa) Maddox of Birmingham, Connie Maddox of Albertville, Janet Maddox Huys (Chris) of Huntsville; grandsons: Martin Maddox (Ann) and McKinnon Maddox (Ann); one great granddaughter: Ryann Marie Maddox; brother: H.A. Brown of Guntersville and sister: Patsy Branham of Douglas.
A private service for family will be held, directed by Gober Funeral Chapel.
