Keith Lynn Long, 65, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on October 12th, 2026, at his residence. He was born on February 10th, 1961, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to Jerry and Mary (Butcher) Long.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Kathy Long of Athens; daughters, Amanda McMilin (Adam) and Allyson Mack; and grandchildren, Alina McMilin, Nathaniel (Abby) McMilin, Rylan Baker, Emma McMilin, Izzy McMilin, and Evie McMilin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Mary Long.
The celebration of life service will be Thursday, October 15th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Sardis Springs Baptist Church, with Clay Crum, Shane Reyer, and Bruce Johnson officiating. The visitation will be Thursday, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., at the church.
Mr. Long was a member of Mays Memorial Baptist Church. He was a skilled woodworker. His biggest hobby was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a gentle soul who loved fishing, playing cards, and cross stitching. To know him was to love him.
