Mrs. Jo Ann Woods, age 87 of Hoschton, GA, formerly of Albertville, AL, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Albertville, with Brother Chris Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 9:30 am till the time of service, and burial will follow at Holly Pond Cemetery, in Holly Pond, AL.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Vaughn; son Charles Woods, Jr. (Fern); and grandchildren John Woods, Alison Woods, Nathan Vaughn, and Anna Woods.
Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her parents James and Pert Aman, and husband Charles Woods.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of Albertville Mission Funds.
