Richard Lane “Ricky” Moss, age 65, of Adams, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1pm Tuesday, September 27th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Springfield with Bro. Chris Camp officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams.
The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Monday, September 26th and again from 11am until time of service at 1pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ricky was born June 6, 1957 in Clarksville, TN to George Wendell and Barbara Ann Moore Moss. He was a farmer, Paramedic and motorcycle mechanic, and a member of First Baptist Church in Portland.
Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his father, George Wendell Moss; a sister, Cheryl Cherry; and his loving dog and companion, Black Jack.
Ricky is survived by his daughters, Christy (Chris) Carnall and Tiffany (Sherman) Johnson; his bonus children, Ahna (Trey) Adcox, Madison (Austin) Hill and Lucas (Charlize) Wyatt; 9 grandchildren, KayLee Carnall, Kenzie Johnson, Mallory Johnson, Stephanie Carnall, Jacob Johnson, Kami Johnson, Maverick Adcox, Collin Hill and Keaton Hill; and his mother, Barbara Ann Moss.
