Nell Frances Chambliss, age 84 was born February 15, 1938 in Ashland City, Tennessee and passed away at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee on September 15, 2022. She was a homemaker, having lived all her life in Ashland City, Springfield, and her final resting at Arcadia Senior Living in Clarksville. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Wright & Cora Clark Hanley. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Royce Chambliss; daughters & sons-in-law; Glynda & Steve Maxey, Lynda & Hershel Basham, Carol & Stan Simmons; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Matt & Ashley Maxey, Julie Beth & James, Natalie Simmons, Stacey & Brad Reece, Easton & Brooklynn; brother-in-law Ralph Powell; nephews & niece: Glenn, Kevin & Bruce Kennedy, Jeff Powell& Ericka Surber.
The family wishes to thank caregiver Sally McMurray and the caregivers at Arcadia for their kindness and attention to her care.

Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 4:00PM on Sunday, September 18th with Bro. Jeff Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00PM until the hour of service at 4:00PM.
