Susie A. Locke, age 89 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m at Higgins Funeral with Bro. Meade and Bro. Bundy officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery beside her husband Charles E. Locke who passed away June 7, 2007. Mrs. Locke passed away Thursday February 21, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Hannah Bain Pirtle and John Thomas Pirtle. She was a former employee of Serbin Manufacturing, retired from Martin Industries and was a member of the First Church of Nazarene. Survivors include sons Ronnie Locke and wife Faye, Kenneth Locke and wife Karen, grandchildren Jimmie Locke of Chicago, IL, Wayne Locke of Fayetteville, Michelle Holland of Hazel Green, AL, Christie Boyd of FL, Devonia Locke of Alabama, step-grandchildren Spencer Threatt of Shelbyville, TN, Jason Threatt of Chicago, IL, 15 great grandchildren.
