Funeral service for Nora Walker Bourgeois, 94, will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Blackman and Rev. Charles Stone officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery in Winston County. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bourgeois died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Parkway Hospital. She was born June 29, 1918, in Winston County to Asa F. Walker, Sr. and Letha Bell (Scott) Walker. Ms. Bourgeois loved to play bingo and loved selling Avon even the day she died. She was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her son: Ronald Bourgeois, two brothers: Louis Walker and Asa F. Walker, Jr. and a sister: Martha Cleo White.
Survivors include: Numerous Nieces and Nephews
Pallbearers will be Murray Fagan, Jason Wise, Tommie White, Lee White, Frankie Spinks, and Danny Fagan.
