Lorean McCord Moore, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Moore was also a member of the Red Hill FCE.
Her parents were the late William and Elizabeth White McCord. She was also preceded in death by her husband Willie Paul Moore; three brothers, Hollis McCord, Bruce McCord, and Willard McCord; two sisters, Vera Foster and Gladys Warren.
She is survived by
One Daughter – Carolyn Daniel (Randall), Lawrenceburg, TN
One Sister – Corean McCord, Lawrenceburg,
One Brother – Thurman McCord, Lawrenceburg,
Several neices and nephews also survive.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 21, 2013, with Bro. Jim Arrington officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. The family requests memorials be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Library or Benevolence Fund.
