Mrs. Nellie Ruth Crane, age 92, of Alabama Highway 227, Geraldine, Alabama died on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at McRae Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crane was born in Gadsden, Alabama on January 18, 1929, to Lawrence Grady & Lela S. Barwick Phillips. She was a retired respiratory therapist.
Mrs. Crane is survived by her Husband: Austin Lee Crane of Geraldine, Sons: Richard Lee Crane of Gadsden, Steve Crane and Mark Crane both of Geraldine, 2 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, Sister: Ina McMeekin of Gadsden. She was preceded in death by her parents and Son: Roger Dale Crane and Daughter: Sherrie Johnson.
