Myrtie Mae Williams, age 81, of Hackleburg, Alabama, passed away Saturday, November 06, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Bexar, Alabama on Thursday, June 06, 1940 to William Woodrow Gilliland and Vida Mae Roberts Gilliland.
Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. Tuesday, November 09, 2021 at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Duncan officiating and burial at MT. Zion Cemetery .
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vida Gilliland; grandson, Josh Williams; sister, Earlene Yancey; brother, William Gail Gilliland; daughter-in-law, Shelia Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, J.R. (Sonny) Williams; sons, Steve Williams, Rodney Williams, Scott Williams (wife, Darlene); Grandchildren, Erica Sparks (husband, Joey),Jordan Williams, Justin Williams, Cassady Williams, Megan Carter, Gracie Carter, Seth Carter, Barry Green; great-grandchildren, Ayden Sparks, Elijah Sparks, Chosen Pruda, , Riley Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
