Brenda May Waits, age 73 of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at her grandson’s home.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Thursday, November 11, with Bro. John Denham officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville with Terry Duke, Sean Romero, Bubba Baker, and Brandon Baker serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8PM and again on Thursday from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Waits was born on May 7, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Estil Baker & Christine Baker Hendrickson. She worked as a waitress for many years while taking care of her family. She loved working in her yard and flower garden. Brenda loved her family, especially her grandchildren and she had a heart of gold for everyone. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Marcus Romero and a brother Jerry Lee Baker.
Survivors include her sons, Terry (Noonie) Duke, Sean (Roxanne) Romero, & Raymond Romero; daughter, Angie (Wayne) Baker; brother, John (Terry) Baker; sisters, Faye Maxwell & Pamela Parman; grandchildren, Melissa Wolfe, Steven “Bubba” Baker, Brandon Baker, Kayla Hester, and Sheree Romero; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
