Mr. James G. Dollar, age 89, of Empire passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at New Canaan Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Johnson will officiate. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Huey and Bertha Dollar; sisters, Mary Alice O’Berry, Diane Salter and Rita Belcher (Gene); and brothers, Clifton Levell Dollar and Kenneth Ray Dollar.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anna Margaret Dollar; son, Jerry Dollar (Rhonda); daughter, Heidi Martin (Danny); granddaughters, Caroline Dollar, Lindsay England (Dennis), Brittany Martin, and Blakley Martin; great grandsons, Joseph Cole England and William James England; a host of nieces and nephews; and in-laws in Germany, Herman and Imgard Finsterer.
