Cleeta Bytha Walls Mitchell, 88, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, AL. She was born in Red Bay, AL and worked at Quaker Industries in Illinois for nineteen years. She attended Muscle Shoals Church of God.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 17, 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, MS with Bro. Greg Pace and Bro. Roger Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Masks and social distancing requested by the family. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons – Kenneth Wayne Mitchell and Ricky Howard Mitchell; four grandchildren – Rhett Mitchell, Nikkita Mitchell, Carter Mitchell and Kendra Mitchell and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Cecil Mitchell, her parents, Willie and Alice Grissom Walls, a great-grandson, Patrick Mitchell and several brothers and sisters.
