SHEFFIELD – Helen Keller Hospital, in accordance to its safety plans, remains in lockdown for a 2nd day. The lockdown came about as a response to a threat against a patient.
Julia Boughner, Director of Hospital Relations, issued this statement: “To ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and employees, Helen Keller Hospital remains in lockdown status. We are very grateful to local law enforcement for their tireless efforts and to visitors for their cooperation as we continue to ensure that Helen Keller Hospital is safe. We are also grateful to local media for their assistance with informing the community.”
