Ronald Chavies, age 73, of Boaz, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Diversicare Boaz.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Boaz Carr Chapel. Interment will follow at Red Apple Cemetery. Rev. Frankie Umphrey will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Elder Thomas, Elder Vasquez, Dan Rains, Rob Rains, Billy Edmondson, Tim Bates, Steven Vandergriff and Mark Moody.
Visitation will be Friday morning from 11:30 until the service time at 1 p.m.
He is survived by his brother and sister, Donald Chavies and Alicia McClendon, niece, Gina King and nephews, Billy Edmondson, John and Justin Knight.
