Penelope “Penny” Ann Metcalfe Monroe, age 52, of Fayette, AL passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 2:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens in Fayette, AL. Pastor David Lesueur to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Penny was born December 23, 1966 in Winfield, AL, to Willie Guy Metcalfe and the late Linda Jackson. She was a 1985 graduate of Sulligent High School, Sulligent, AL and Bevill State Community College in Hamilton, AL. and previously worked as an LPN. Penny was a member of Roxanna Independent Church of God. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
