Rayford Clark Richards, age 67 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 5:00pm, from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Blaylock Cemetery. Bro. David Gifford and Bro. Danny Hollis to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00pm until service time at 5:00pm.

Mr. Rayford Clark Richards was born on January 17, 1952, in Lamar County Alabama to the late Davis Richards and the late Audie Lou Lampkins. He was a1970 graduate of Lamar County High School and attended college at MUW. Rayford was a member of Detroit Church of God, Detroit AL., where he served as an elder for the church. He previously worked 44 years for Ceco Buildings in Columbus, MS., and was also a draftsman for the Army National Guard. He was a devout Christian man, a lay speaker, and Bible teacher, he loved, lived, and taught the Bible. He loved people and God and enjoyed telling everyone about Jesus. Rayford was a wonderful man of God, a loving devoted husband to his wife of 49 years, Martha; a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be greatly missed.
