Theda Howell Norris, 84 of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019. Theda was born May 21, 1934 to the late James and Millie Howell. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville, and had worked as a manager for First Federal Savings and Loan. She had been known as the “Electrolux Lady”.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. . Burial will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Theda is survived by her daughter, Shae Norris Ferguson; son, Mike Norris; sister, Kay (Barry) Wood; brother, Jim (Myra) Howell; grandchildren, Levi Norris and Dusty Norris-Barber; and great-grandchildren, Lily Norris, Cade Massey, and Brooks Barber.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Norris; parents; sisters, Sonya Davison and Linda Perkins; and daughter-in-law, Rendy Norris.
