FLORENCE-Fans of the Florence Wine Fest, recently chosen as the “Top Drink Festival” in Alabama, have an opportunity to purchase tickets early this year as they go on sale at noon on December first.
“The festival is entering its fourth year and is on track to reach exciting new heights in attendance and vinous offerings,” said Caleb Banks, a festival founder. “We are thrilled to be able to release tickets a month ahead of previous years’ schedules and hope that this will allow both Shoals area residents and out-of-town guests to plan ahead to enjoy the entire weekend with us.” Banks concluded, “If you’re lucky, you might even find tickets in your stockings this Christmas. After all, one size fits all!”
In past years VIP-level admission to the festival, as well tickets to specialty attractions such as the Bubbles Tent, sold out quickly. This year, in an effort to accommodate as many guests as possible, organizers will celebrate the festival’s fourth anniversary by expanding the festival to a two-day celebration of viniculture. The ways in which wine enthusiasts may participate will also expand with the addition of an exclusive multi-course wine dinner with famed wine importer John David Heidrick and chef Josh Quick; a “Brunch & Chat” event featuring light brunch, mimosas, and an opportunity to chat with a panel wine experts; a high-energy Champagne Kick-Off Party featuring Atlanta-based groove band, Creativity; and six levels of ticketing options including a “Grand Cru VIP – Stay-n-Play” option for two guests including two nights of luxury accommodations at the Stricklin Boutique Hotel in downtown Florence.
“Florence Wine Festival guests have never had so many ways to celebrate,” said Banks. “Wine Fest 2019 is all about rolling out exciting new concepts and experiences and introducing as many people as possible to the wonderful world of wine and food we have here in the Shoals.”

Florence Wine Fest is an annual event held in Wilson Park in downtown Florence. The festival showcases unique wines, local chefs, and live entertainment.
