Funeral services will be held on Monday November 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Hogland officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday November 25, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris (Blakely) Jones; children, Nancy Jones, Donald (Tammy) Jones, Sharon (Glen) White; grandchildren, Amanda Davis, Ashton (Jason) Young, Keaton Jones, Megan (Trey) Bowen; great grandchildren, Dylan Davis, Daevion Davis, Brighton Jones, Christian Nelson, Randall Gunner Young; brother, Olan (Linda) Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Bertha (Whitaker) Jones; brothers, O.L. Jones and Oneal Jones; sisters, Ilene Collins, Beulah Bea Andrews, Betty Jean Kenny, Effie May Harwell, and Mary Lou Miles.
