ATHENS-The team behind Amazing Grace: An Unqualified Call, a faith-based feature film being developed and filmed right here in Athens, Alabama, and surrounding communities has invited local churches and community leaders throughout North Alabama to their “Soldier for Christ” event this Saturday, October 10, from 1:00–5:00 PM at the Alabama Veterans Museum. (114 W. Pryor St.)
They are looking for this to be an opportunity for the community to come together in fellowship while discovering the vision behind their feature film. Attendees will hear from the creative team working on the project and be among the first to experience the 30-minute film concept which was released at the 2026 International Christian Film Festival (ICFF) and nominated for best trailer.
