Mrs. Margo Lane Bramlett Freeman, 70, of Decatur was born on October 8, 1948 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Boyd and Dona Mae Ferguson Bramlett. She departed this life on October 22, 2018 at the Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

She was employed by her local union as a carpenter at the Browns Ferry Plant. She was the first female carpenter in her local chapter and she was an expert at her craft.

Mrs. Freeman lived in the Moulton Heights Community where she was well known. She loved and would take care of her neighbors, family, and friends. She loved to fish, cook, and work in her garden. She was fascinated with hummingbirds and pyrotechnics. At any time in the year you would find her entertaining her family with her gourmet delicacies and a superb fireworks show.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her two children, Jerry Freeman, of Decatur and Cynthia Freeman Burks (Jay), of Trinity.

At her request, the family held a private celebration of life. Reynolds Funeral Home assisted the family.
