Local Personal Injury Law Firm to Pursue Damages Resulting from Two Pit Bulls’ Attack

FLORENCE – Mrs. Rose Holt, age 78, and local Shoals resident, was the victim of a multiple dog attack on June 15, 2018. The attack happened on her property while she was watering flowers.  The dogs, both Pit Bulls belonging to a neighboring resident of the area, attacked the victim, knocking her to the ground and repeatedly biting her over her face and entire body. The injuries landed Mrs. Holt in ECM, where she is listed in fair condition, and continues to slowly recover from her injuries.

In the aftermath of the incident, the Florence Police Department has launched a “Dangerous Dog Investigation” regarding the dogs.

Tom McCutcheon, partner at the law firm, stated, “I have known Mrs. Holt and her family for several decades. Mrs. Holt is simply a wonderful lady. This attack on Mrs. Holt sounds as if it comes straight from a Stephen King novel. The photographs of her injuries are shocking.” McCutcheon continued, “The law in Alabama provides protections and recoveries for victims such as Mrs. Holt. It is my honor, both as an attorney and family friend, to represent Mrs. Holt and her husband.”

Mr. McCutcheon stated he is filing suit immediately on behalf of the family.
